Create Absence Credits window

Purpose

Use this window to apply credits from excused absences to a student's account.

To access this window

Complete one of the following to access this window.

On the Modules menu, point to Scheduling and click Create Absence Credits. On the Pick Customer window that displays, select a customer account. If necessary, select a student account on the Select Student window.
Use the keyboard shortcut Alt, M, H, R. On the window that displays, select a customer account.On the Pick Customer window that displays, select a customer account. If necessary, select a student account on the Select Student window.

Item descriptions

Fields and boxes

Item	Description
(account number)	Displays the account number this student is associated with.
(student number)	Displays the student's student number. Student numbers are not unique between students on their own; in other words, account 101 might have students 1, 2, and 3 and account 452 might have students 1 and 2. Student numbers are made unique by appending them to account numbers (101-1, 101-2, 101-3, 452-1, and 452-2).
(student name)	The name of the student on the account.
(student amount)	Displays the total amount available to be credited to the student account because of excused absences.
(instructor amount)	Displays the total amount due to the instructor for the missed classes.
grid columns
(check box)	Select this check box to apply a credit to the student's account for this missed class.
Class	Displays the name of the class the student missed.
Date	Displays the date of the class the student missed.
Start	Displays the time this class started.
End	Displays the time this class ended.
Stu Amt	Displays the student-responsible charges for this class, or the amount that will be credited to the student's account.
Inst Amt	Displays the payment amount the instructor receives for this class.

Buttons

Item	Description
Save	Applies the credits from the selected classes to the student account.
Exit	Closes the window.
